A queda de Satanás no Antigo Testamento

A Bíblia inicia com a boa criação de Deus. Mas esta logo é invadida pela presença do mal. Antes da Queda dos humanos, deve ter ocorrida a queda de Satanás. O AT traz informações a respeito? Os textos de Gênesis 1.1,2; Isaías 14.12-15 e Ezequiel 28.12-19, comumente vistos como indicadores da queda de Satanás, são analisados para ver o que podem informar a respeito desse assunto. Em seguida, é feita uma avaliação se esses textos, de fato se referem à queda de Satanás, como foi inferido desde cedo na história da igreja. A exegese dos textos não aponta para uma conexão com a queda de Satanás, mas afirma a respectiva queda dos reis da Babilônia e de Tiro. Pessoas que em sua soberba se exaltam e esquecem sua condição de criatura, cairão. Esse é o ensino claro de Isaías 14.12-15 e Ezequiel 28.12-19, mas uma alusão a Satanás nesses textos parece forçada. O AT silencia sobre a queda de Satanás — devemos respeitá-la.
